My Vasectomy Reversal

There are a number of things I meant to post about pre-vasectomy reversal, and I’m kind of playing catch up with this one, but it might have a bearing on things I’ll be discussing later.

15 years or so ago, I had a vasectomy. As I suppose is usually the case, the doctor wanted to check sperm samples afterwards to ensure that it worked. It didn’t and I had to have it done a second time. I realize that occasionally the vas deferens heals itself after a vasectomy. I liked to joke that I was just too virile; that’s why they had to do it twice. But maybe I just had a lousy doctor. I do recall that he got his degree from a Caribbean medical school, and though the years may have amplified the memories, I recall much more pain than I am experiencing with my vasectomy reversal.
