Ten percent of men with vasectomy seek reversal

Ten percent of men who get a vasectomy will ultimately seek a vasectomy reversal, according to Dr. Larry Lipshultz, a professor of urology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He went on to say:

Sperm harvesting during vasectomy reversal not cost effective

Researchers at John Hopkins have determined that sperm harvesting and cryoperservation during vasectomy reversal is not cost effective. Costs were compared to sperm harvesting at the time of IVF, where vasectomy reversal was unsuccessful. Median costs were as follows:
