My Vasectomy Reversal

Since Rich has low sperm count, low motility, high viscosity and alkalinity of his semen, I’ve been researching ways to boost the results of his semen analysis. A thread on a message board caught my attention. There was a discussion about improving semen quality of a guy who, like Rich, is a biker, who likes spicy foods and alcohol, and who had similar semen analysis results. One suggestion was for the wife to give him a prostate massage. This treatment is sometimes suggested for men with prostatitis (swollen prostate), which Rich has as well. Apparently, prostate massage can help “clean the pipes” and improve fluid production.

The thread on the message board had a general description of how to give a prostate massage, but I wanted more detail, so I went searching. Whoa – did I find myself on some interesting sites! Apparently, prostate massage is big in the S & M crowd, and there are “toys” available, and sometimes the massage is given “internally.” I’m only willing to consider giving an external prostate massage, and I was able to find some helpful instructions.

First and foremost, the warnings. Prostate massage is not recommended for men with prostate cancer, as you can cause the cancer to metastasize, or for men with a prostate infection, since the infection can spread. Nor should it be too vigorous, or you can damage the fragile tubes. In addition, it’s important for both the giver and the receiver to be clean. Finally, do this at your own risk, following your own research!

To give the massage, the receiver should lie on his back, bring his knees up, and put the soles of his feet together. This exposes the perineum. Take your finger and feel along the perinium until you feel the direction of muscles change, then feel for a firm lump. Using your index and middle fingertips, rub or press this area gently, in a circular motion. This should relax the muscles around the prostate and help it drain. Men typically find this pleasurable and arousing. Although not for me, here’s a description of how to give an internal prostate massage.
