Ovulation after miscarriage
Now that the miscarriage is complete, I've been wondering when we can start to try again. I'm not entirely ready, emotionally, but I do feel like we want to keep trying rather than take a break, since neither of us is getting any younger! My doctor said to wait two cyles to try again. When I asked why, he said there is no medical reason to wait, it's for emotional healing and so that your cycle is more predictable. That way, if you do get pregnant again, they have a better idea of when you ovulated. This got me wondering, when will I ovulate? It apears that ovulation after miscarriage is not that easy to predict. It can vary from two to ten weeks, but since mine was early and "uncomplicated," I will most likely ovulate in about two weeks.
