Tipped uterus and trying to conceive

I know that miscarriage is common in early pregnancy - I’ve seen stats that say 25 to 50% of pregnancies end in miscarriage, many before the woman even knows she is pregnant. And I know that early miscarriages are most likely due to chromosomal problems, not anything the pregnant woman did or didn’t do. But I guess I’m looking for something to blame, something to fix, reassurance that we won’t miscarry again (if one of those few and far between spermies manages to make it to my egg).

Something I saw when reading message boards (which I’m spending way too much time on) was about a tipped uterus. I’ve been told during several ultrasounds that I have this, and always been assured that it is nothing to worry about, so I didn’t worry. But again – I want something to blame, so I went researching.  It seems that having a tipped uterus doesn’t impact fertility, unless there are secondary problems associated with it.

For example, having a tipped uterus can lead to increased infections, endometriosis, or painful intercourse. I don’t seem to have problems with any of these, although an OB/GYN I saw years ago told me that I have endometriosis, but my current OB doesn’t think so.

Check one paranoid fear off the list – the miscarriage probably wasn’t because of my tipped uterus.  Next, we’ll research celiac disease.
